I am very concerned that one of the Bed and Breakfast establishments in Whitby have treated their pre-paid guests so poorly. Myself and a colleague were booked into a twin room at Grantley House B&B 26 Hudson Road on Saturday 27th January. We were given a front door key which did not work. We were given an electronic fob to open our bedroom door which did not work. We were stuck outside the property for hours. No one answered the  Business phone number. Local B&B's tried continually to phone Grantley House on our behalf.  We had to phone the local police who seemed concerned that the property was not staffed. Just as the police said they would come to break down the front door, a couple returning from a very late dinner, let us in.

Good service centre with helpful staff. 24hour bus service for £6.50 for unlimited number of tours to all tourist attractions in Witby.
