Had whitebait as starter and battered cod and chips for mains. I really enjoyed both. A lot! What also stood out for me was that the sides were also excellent. I tried gravy, curry sauce and mushy peas. Also the service was impeccable. Well done!
Dropped in and despite being busy we were seated quickly. Good old fish n chips and tasted better than your local chippy. Washed down with a pot of tea. Yummy. Little one had Cod bites, and they were delicious too a good sized kid portion. I'll be back.
My first fish and chips in Sheffield, fish is crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth inside, tartar sauce, had mushy peas and pickled onions as sides, loved the mushy peas, really tasty. Ambiance; comfortable enough, sat in the booth and service was excellent, lovely ladies, food came out really quick, piping hot! Would have liked to have some heat as in pepper sauce on the side seeing as it's fish, I will ask the next time. All in all a great experience.
Whenever I am back in the UK I’m visiting family I always try and come here for a taste of home. Simply delicious fish and chips served by attentive staff and and very coeliac friendly. Gluten-free fish and chips served with gluten-free vinegar and gluten free Peroni and I can’t tell the difference from the normal options diagnosed at 38 so I know!. NL: authentieke Britse fish and chips met glutenvrije opties!

Just relished eating a delicious Gluten free cod meal takeaway. The battered fish was cooked to perfection! It usually is to be fair at Whitby's and this take a lot of skill. It's all about caring, making sure that the fat is the right temperature, batter is correct consistency and evenly coated food. Most important is knowing when fish is just ready this is the greatest skill. Thank you Whitby's
First visit whilst in the area for work. I have to say it was some of the best fish and chips I've ever had, lovely crisp melt in the mouth batter and the mushy peas were amazing. Really friendly staff, and didn't mind that we were in our work boots and coveralls. I would highly recommend eating here. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options, and my colleague said the vegan curry was great. Parking: Great, large easily accesses carpark that is disabled and wheelchair friendly.
Gluten free fish and chips, sausage, etc. Gluten free vinegar. Separate fryer. Really nice take away, there is a restaurant too, however I have not been there yet. There is a car park, which is usually quite busy due to people going to the restaurant, the take away is really efficient and you are in and out fairly quickly. Oh they also do gluten free potato scallops battered potatoes.
The gluten free fish and chips are delicious and consistently good. We only eat takeaway, not in the restaurant, and it's a bit more expense than your usual gluten free chip shops. For gluten free, the choices are pretty much just fish and chips. No curry sauce ect. It's also dairy free and I've had no issues with a dairy allergy and a gluten intolerance. Dietary restrictions: Caters for gluten free and dairy free fish and chips.
Excellent fish, best I've ever tasted as I'm gluten intolerant and find it hard to find fish when I dine out. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The only complain t I have is that if you do t want chips but want new potatoes you still have to pay for the chips you didn't have and then have to pay for new potatoes as well. Most places I know offers choice. So that means you are paying £9.95 just for the fish. Dietary restrictions: Excellent choice of gluten free.
