After suffering a slip and damaging my knee the 1st night after I arrived for a 4 night getaway had to attend the walking centre. Was extremely clean and very well run and organised. From start to finish was seen patched up and out within 45 min. Staff were brilliant. Wouldn't wish anyone has to attend but if you do you are if good hands
Special shout-out to both the staff and doctors here. Whitby is lucky to have you. While our governments make it so hard to work as a UK, these individuals understood the challenge and resolved it in an effective and expeditious way. Outstanding!
I was seen here yesterday by a nurse practitioner, Zia. She was extremely professional, introduced herself and the student paramedic, gained my consent, explained everything she was doing and why, provided me with medication and a prescription. Extremely thorough and because of her actions have been able to get back to work today. Many thanks Zia
Thanks to all the staff at Whitby Community Hospital, Urgent Treatment Centre and Radiology Department.nTwo and a half hours from accident to home with my girlfriend.nnDriving to A&E at Scarborough or Middlesbrough and the wait to be seen would have been longer. Let alone treatment.nnThank goodness I knew about this service.nnThey are all true angels
On holiday in Whitby for a few days I had developed an eye infection and decided to go to the hospital rather than wait until I was home.nI was seen very quickly and after triage had no more than 20 minutes to wait. Staff apologised to me that my wait was longer than anticipated due to an emergency. I was given a prescription for antibiotics.nThe Urgent Treatment Centre was clean and bright, staff were friendly and efficient and overall it was an extremely positive experience.
