Quirky and free tourist attraction leading up to Whitby, not difficult to complete takes about 5mins, but still gives you a sense of accomplishment. Opportunities for some great photos while getting your steps in and the views of Whitby and the sea are not to be missed!
Does exactly what it says on the tin. 199 of your finest steps both up and down. Would recommend not skipping leg day before your visit.nnIf you have asthma, COPD , or any lower back, knee, or hip issues, I would recommend giving it a miss and jumping on the tour bus to get to the Abbey.
Great walk up the famous steps. Not too difficult I have to say. View was amazing. Loved the church and old graveyard. The Whitby Brewery was superb with delish pizzas. Well worth it.
It was a climb but once get up there it is stunning. It’s good for the exercise you must have been seeing this place. Beautiful and nice people.
Fantastic views as you ascend and from the top. Not very steep so easely climbed if you pace yourself... As a reward your find whitby brewery at the top......
