Great place to sit, great beer, lovely view and good entertainment. The pizza are really good to and it's dog friendly. Always worth a climb up the 199 steps!
Can get busy but that's because it's good! Only card payments are accepted so make sure whoever is paying has theirs! We took the tour last year, ably hosted by Devon, which was very informative and included sampling various ales, well worth the ticket price. Visited again this year for a swift one, not disappointed. Soft drinks available for the kids / drivers and public pay n display carpark just around the corner. Fab views of the abbey literally opposite. Recommended.
Very good atmosphere, with the walk to the hill. Pizza was really good to prosciutto and salami pizzas ordered. The variety of beers/ales was top class
Really nice beers, pizza after 13:00 too. Managed to get in out of a cold and windy Whitby to a nice warm tap room
Excellent pit stop for those climbing the 199 steps.nnCatered for family with variety of drinks on top of their own fabulous selection on offer.nnLoved the outdoor seating area which looks out on to the abbey. Also great seating area inside with views of the brewery, stage and pizza oven.nnLady serving on tap was really polite and courteous.
