Great carpark for disabled, disabled people/drivers right in front of hospital, can park for free, you have to produce your blue badge at reception along with the person whos badge it is, they then authenticate your ticket for you, alternative parking is across the carriage way from the hospital, it is clearly visible and there is disabled parking on the same floor as the road bridge, you can purchase a weekly ticket for £12 you put the ticket in the machine on entry and exit, initially take a ticket on your first visit and when you go to pay the instructions are very clear on the machine, the staff on reception are very knowledgeable and helpful, disabled parking in front of hospital is limited to about 30 places and can get quite busy, around the time of visiting,
At times it can get busy but with 11 floors "Patience" is key as spaces become available. Would recommend if you going to use a lot, get the weekly £12 at machine.
Weekly pass of £12 is a really excellent idea, was there twice a day and three times one day, be very careful of the tight ramps to go up the levels, and even more tighter on the way down
Disgusting when a patient is ill and it costs you £6 per day to visit., if you can even get parked. I have a blue badge and Warrington plus Halton are free. Rip off Merseyside as usual.
What can you say - It's a carpark your only likely to use if visiting someone in hospital. Convenient for the hospital, access via footbridge from level 5, lifts were in working order and quite quick in arriving compared to typical multi-stories. Pay on exit at ticket machine then barrier exit. Can be quite busy at popular visiting times so be prepared to be parked on an upper level. Ramps are quite tight so give yourself as much turning circle as possible.
First 20 are free and then just £1 an hour and then in 10 minutes increments. Cheapest hospital parking I've seen and plenty of spaces. Don't forget to pay at floor 5 on the way out.
Great hospital, the car park is a safe place to leave ur car , good experience.
Hate having to park here its always full and have to go round and round looking for a space .I've started asking for appointments at sthelenshospital if possible the parking is much easier there .
Top car park if you need to get to Winston hospital. would park here again.
Unfortunately, I have visited quite a few local hospitals over the last couple of years,but I have to say this hospital was head and shoulders above the rest spotless, great rooms and the menu was very good. If I am to be admitted to hospital this is the one I would choose.
