My human says.... "This is a proper pub. Traditional pub. Clean, friendly staff and according to my Dad, the beer is good. I just had orange juice because I was driving. I'll definitely take my Dad there again." I don't go to pubs, I'm a parrot.

Better than you would expect. Food is fine, staff, very helpful. Its not a place you will never forget or rave to your friends about, its just, solid.
It is a wonderful place to eat they have a wide selection on the menu. Children are welcome. I had a lovely dinner piping hot. Please visit.

Popped into to catch up with some old friends. What a change. It's so warm and welcoming after having a refurb about 3 years ago. Had a lovely afternoon. Staff where lovely. Drinks very reasonably priced and a good selection . Will be coming back again

You can tell that the old landlord has returned as soon as you walk through the door as there are more customers and they are happy. Need to return again to enjoy his culinary skills
