Good for lunch, roughly double the price of tescos next door but the quality of ingredients is far higher. They do good breakfast butties and also baked potatoes. There is an extensive salad selection. The sandwich I bought cost £4.85. There is space to eat in or tables outside.
Ordered from the app TooGoodToGo, the food was really delicious. For £3.50 I got a beef and onion sandwich, chicken caesar and a fruit pot. The sandwich was the star of the show, super tasty!
Jacket potato with tuna mayo, i say mayo it was as dry as a sand box!!! That with a cold potato spoon of beetroot red onion and lettuce lunch was overpriced. That and a water and twix 10.90!! Save your money guys and go to Tesco next door.Food: 1/5
Walk in and you can see it's modern style. Plenty of space for customers. Not a lot of space for the staff to move around. I visited for a breakfast bap, brunch here set me back about £6 but I was able to get 4 toppings for that price. Staff were friendly and attentive. I wasn't offered any sauce but then again I didn't ask. So I'm going with "Don't ask, don't get" but it would have been nice to have be offered. All in all a pleasant experience. Would recommend if you like your ingredients freshly prepared.
Overcharged again! This is the third time I have been overcharged at this branch. This place has gone downhill since COVID. Customer service is nonexistent and the food is poor quality and overpriced. I'll be going to Starbucks next door for lunch in the future.Food: 2/5
Used to be fab but has sadly changed alot since COVID. Used to have a really good selection of soups etc. I come for salads when in the office and actually prefer them to the salad shop a few doors down but they never fill the box to give a good generous portion, always half full.Food: 2/5
Asked for a chicken salad sandwich. The woman put raw tomato in with it... With her bare hands... And squished it into the bread, so the juices of the tomato ran all over her fingers... And then she wiped her fingers into the bread... Who does that!? And there's no layout to the shop, so you're stood there like a shmuck waiting to be served, but that's the paying queue once you have your food. Never again
Wow this place has gone downhill fast. They tried to overcharge us and the quality of the food is questionable. If the board says 3.00 for a double egg sandwich, why are you asking 3.75 at the till? The operator refused to acknowledge the difference and I paid to avoid the confrontation. The sandwich took 15 minutes and arrived without the oil being drained first so the bag is full of hot grease. I won't return
I've popped in a few times recently and never been disappointed with the food or the friendliness of the staff. Even though it's in a busy part of the city, it feels very welcoming because the staff have a smile on their face. The food is full of flavour...i'd definitely recommend their soups! A nice vibrant atmosphere a pleasure to go in.
Something has changed here. The bread is slightly stale - years ago it used to be bob onFood: 3/5
