There yesterday. Not worth what they charge. Rejoining fee of €50 is a con on top of €89 pm for one adult. Facilities need to be better for price. Showers and changing rooms have always been poor. Other good gyms around for 1/3 of the cost. Just my opinion .
The only thing they're are good at is stealing your money. If you think of freezing your subscription they keep charging you after 3 months which wasn't communicated to me back then, and without any notice about stopping or starting. Rude staff and phone customer support. Expensive and dirty as everyone said in reviews. Better to subscribe to the gym next to your house, way more convenient. Think 10 times before joining them.
For €89 per month you would at least expect clean showers. Doors are missing from some showers in West Wood Westmanstown, while all of the showers have black mould both in the showers and on the ceiling. The water pressure is also terrible. Terrible hair dryers too. The cleaners are always around cleaning, but the shower area badly needs to be renovated. Its a shame, because the showers and changing rooms are the last things that you use before leaving. The Gym area is pretty decent, although some of the equipment is starting to show its age, and there can be long delays in getting things repaired. The free weights are also crazy disorganised, even if you go in first thing in the morning they plates are all mixed up and left in the wrong places. The trainers are a mixed bag in my opinion, but most are somewhat approachable. And the front desk staff are very helpful. The 6 day personal training plan is only of use if you are completely new to the gym, they are not proper personal training sessions, but that is to be expected.
Great gum really like it a lot of equipment clean and tidy! Stuff 1 from 5 ! Nothing more to say if I try it will be just a lot of bad words. And member condition and terms 1 from 5 !
I am disappointed with the price. Very rude reception staff. Very low water pressure in the showers and the water is too hot. The doors of many showers are missing. The storage lockers are in bad conditions. And many others, etc. And for a year only promises, but nothing changes or actions.
I used to practice this gym for one year! Disgusting for €89 pm, increased from €79 with no reason We are a group of 5 persons, 0 % discount We ask a lot of times the manager to have more pressure in the shower areas, nothing happened since the last year, one year and still waiting for pressure which they promised every week No doors in the shower area, ‘advice: if you are poor remove all of them and people will think that this the new design’ One year without 5 doors, I don’t know who is the owner but this is shame A lot of door for lockers in changing area are broken and inside is disaster, no hangers ‘ they are very expensive so you should supply no more than one per year’ ridiculous! Advice if you have €0 investment in one year, usually if no investment you should reduce the price not to increase! Useless staff on entrance desk, never say hello or goodbye ‘thank you for your visit today’!
Need to seriously improve the cleanliness of the showers in Westmanstown gym there is mold and mildew and hair and rust everywhere! For 70 euro per month I would honestly expect a better cleaner showers , not the showers that I need a tetanus injection shot before I will use it! Need to replace shower shelves, doors as well - wear and tear and rust etc, but this is secondary, the main thing is that showers are seriously dirty and cleaning staff walks around dusting things but completely ignores the showers! It's a decent gym with a bunch of facilities and good price when the discounts are on. A few downsides, buses are pretty rare and walking isn't really an option. The spa room is pretty loud and filled with too many knobs who can't shut up and have no social awareness at all. Please, me and a bunch of other people don't wanna listen to your political views or the premier league or whatever. So shush or leave. Oh and speaking a different language doesn't help. So shut up. They complain about the Sauna being too cold, well maybe if you didn't pour water on it, it'll work just fine. No need to ruin it for everyone cause you in a hurry for some reason. The pool, well I personally wish it wasn't heated, makes swimming a little harder. The weight room itself, they should have labels on the dumbbell racks for each weight. Like weights are all over the place and takes you like 5 minutes to find the other weight. The squat racks, jesus. Same case. Plates are all over the place and they're all a different size. Please fix. It's very messy up there. Please fix Westwood Westmanstown. Thanks.
This review is for kids birthday parties at Fitzone, part of the West Wood clubs. They've lost our child. Yepp. My wife checked the eating area of the birthday and she wasn't there. Then she went to the playground and none of the employees knew where our daughter was. We luckily found her but their protocols are clearly faulty and very unsafe. I complained with management, which was very keen on moving the conversation out of public view, and I was promised a review of the events and a call back. 10 days later, still no call back. If you care about your kids, make sure you supervise them directly which is instead prohibited by their policies!!!.
I see a promotion on internet saying the gym is 1.73 per day and that there is 4 days free trial. Went in to try the gym and pool for 4 days, was told thats not available because of supposed backlog but the gym/pool area was empty. I could only "try" the facility is if i sing up. I would avoid this gym for their false advertising practices.
