Just an awful experience and place. The chicken chunks/ pieces were so dry and just overall dreadful! First and last time eating from here
Fish cake was burnt and too much salt been put on it. Was also over charged. When I asked the manager he said he charged me £1 for a cheese slice when there was non and even then still been over charged.Food: 1/5
Owner is a lovely guy. Food portions are just right. Fish is delicious. Great value prices. And to top it off they have their own really nice chilli sauce made in house. Highly recommend this place.
Had to help the cashier work out my change!! He then proceeded to double check it on a calculator- the amount I owed was £5.50 so I gave him £10.50. The large chips I ordered did not even fill the tray despite me saying that the portion looked small to be a large. No organisation in the shop as people kept just walking in and being served before me despite me waiting in the queue. I ordered 6 scallops to collect and they were all cold, thin, tiny and had minimal batter if any at all. I am a regular there however I will be going elsewhere from now on
Food had been kept warm too long and was stale dried up inedible. I binned most of it. Attempting to complain was useless the member of staff hardly spoke English. No wonder it was dead quiet at lunch time. A place to avoidFood: 1/5

They do not have a large fish. The large fish is no more than 6inchs long and 1.5inches thick, you will be disappointed. Also the owner has very poor hospitality.Food: 1/5
Always used to get fish and chip and donner from this place for years. The chips were not cooked properly and donner doesnt taste the same anymore, hardly any taste left! Very disappointed.Food: 1/5

Used to be a great chippy. Now it’s desolate and it’s clear to see why; Standards have dropped- Chips were soggy, tasted old and the donner looked miserable. Service was below par, 10 minute wait in an abandoned shop turned to 20 minutes for mediocre food. Very disappointed- it’s clear that west side haven’t bothered to improve.
