Second visit and again very happy with both the service and meals. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Booked in advance for Sunday evening but needn't have bothered plenty of tables free, though that was probably due to the cold weather. I had the moussaka which was both filling and extremely tasty.

Oh lord this place is just divine!!! Traditional dishes and the service second to none. More than happy to explain the dishes, ingredients and whether very spicy or mild. Very friendly and helpful. Traditional music in.the background...was lovely. Will def be visiting again.

Amazing food and excellent front of house too. We were treated like Rotalty from the moment we arrived. Lovely touch with a card for the Birthday girl and the table dressed with balloons and decorations. They made a special day magical.

Sorry it was below par. I am a Brummie who has lived in North London by Green Lanes an area renowned for Turkish food. I am vegetarian and don't believe that the mousaka is worth £10.50! No! You can't kid a kidder! It's vegetables and cheese! The restaurant was in an old bank but the decor cheap and corny. Seriously the hummus was horrible: not enough oil on top, very dry. I think there is a naivety with some restaurant owners who think because Turkish or other non British food is exotic in Blackheath/Birmingham they think we don't know our spices and palate. Get out of the 80's! We do...that's why Brum has been taken over with vast amounts of eateries now. Gone are the fray bentos days! Don't insult my intelligence! And the background music...depressing lamenting noise...for such a sunny day the whole ambience depressed me. .. Lastly...don't get me started on the grotty area... Please try London or go to Turkey. They do not do justice to this great country and cuisine.
