The Social aspect of this venue is completely mixed up as Security are stalking teenagers, challenging them and throwing them out even if they are sitting quietly. My daughter and her friend sat down to chat in the Food Court planning to order drinks in a few minutes. Security came over just as they sat down and asked if they were ordering food. They said "no" and before they could add that they were ordering drinks in a few minutes they were told to leave. Security stood by the table and stared at them while they got their things together and then escorted them out. My daughter said they do this all time to teenagers, especially boys. These are your future customers, they won't come back. Also a Food Court with a "Social" tag is not a restaurant. It implies a more relaxed, social atmosphere. The place is empty most of the time too! Are you just anti all teenagers, regardless of their custom and good behaviour?
I was amazed to find a place that is open for the public to use for any reason they wish, as long as you do not bring outside food. now that last bit is fine in most cases, but the options here are so limited, half the stores are vacant. I would review each store separately but the run down is 1. noodles bad. small portion, large prices, bad food. 2. burrito mediocre portion depends on staff, so you never know what you're getting. which annoys me to no end. slightly overpriced. food is decent. 3. burger mediocre friendly staff, wild music choices. portion is decent prices are slightly over priced more so than burrito food is passable. it is annoying that they tried to do both a price hike and a portion shrink at the same time. but a month later portions returned. I suppose business took a hit. I have a gripe that knocks this down a star, although it doesn't affect me. security are always hassling youngsters those between 14-18. many times they are just hanging out having their fries and suddenly they get approached by 2-5 security personnel trying to bounce them out. I don't see how their behaviour is any worse than the couple who made out in the middle of the social for 3 hours.
Ordered a £9.50 “Japanese style popcorn chicken” meal from Charlie Chan’s Chicken Shack, it took about 20 minute for them to make it bearing in mind the chicken was already cooked and in the counter where they keep it warm when I sat down with my food, I realised the food was stone cold… the chicken looked really old and had a funny colour . I went up to the lady who was taking orders and complained politely that my food was very cold and so was my boyfriend’s- who ordered the same thing. As I didn’t like it at all, I naturally asked for a refund, she replied with that she can’t do refunds and needed to call her manager to authorise the refund… she then told me that the manager said she can only refund one of our meals, we obviously was not happy about this and we asked why can’t we both get a refund, she then got one of the chefs and he came out with a horrible attitude refused us a refund, he laughed at us and said there is no chance of us getting a refund, claimed he didn’t have our money to give back. he shouted abuse at us also insisted for my boyfriend to come back for a fight or something? Swearing and saying the food being cooked wrong and cold wasn’t his problem called security on us which lead to us being kicked out. It was very embarrassing. As this was happening, customers wanted to order food but chose to go somewhere else because of the Argo the chef was letting off. I am not going there again and I don’t think anyone should
Great food outlets and most of them 80% offer halal food. Great variety with great atmosphere. A great hangout place for students and the Mall goesers. A must try for all who visit the Mall at Westgate in Oxford.
Love this place, Tommys burger joint and Benitos Mexican are an absolute credit ..... epic food, epic service at great prices
Great location, street food section has quite a few options to pick from. Also located in Westgate which is a great place to spend sometime as well.

I wish there were more options down there, it is a great place to eat just unfortunate that it is below the main level so a lot of people miss it
I would rate it 0 stars if I could. The service was terrible, no customer service, unhygienic, the food from the Chinese place was disgusting and tasted like used bread crumbs and chicken looked raw. We waited 30 mins and the food wasn’t even warm. And on top of that paid a high price.
