Dire service, small portions, overpriced, uninspired flavours. Recently went here for a "quick" lunch at 3pm on a Sunday. There were few other customers so I was surprised to be waiting upwards of 30 minurs for the two supposedly large burritos I'd ordered costing me £20! When they finally arrived they were not large and frankly upsetting to look at. As this was going on other customers were complaining about the wait and the fire alarm which kept going off. How do you burn a burrito!?. I will never be visiting again. Go to mission if you want a burrito in Oxford.
New place where Atomic Burger used to be. Menu is literally only burritos and drinks, so don't come looking for anything else. Having said that, portions are a decent size but only if you get the Big Ron, the others are a bit on the small side, with ability to select spiciness there's even a tasting tray at the till where you can try it out before you buy! It tastes ok and service was super quick. Inside is minimal decor, making it look like a shed inside, it's even got a corrugated ceiling to cement the look. If I need to eat quick, I'd consider it again, but for what it is, a bit overpriced...
Burrito was basically a dry tortilla full of rice and lettuce. Absolutely no flavor to the meat and if there was guacamole, sour cream, and cheese, it was invisible. If you are from California, please do not make the mistake of trying to find a proper Mexican restaurant. Don't even get me started on the margaritas.
Bought a burrito here for take-away - I am a regular Mission Burrito customer. This was way more expensive, and at the same time much lower quality. The fillings are not properly mixed up in the Burrito, it's soggy and nearly tasteless ate vegetarian.
I try to avoid rubbishing businesses in my reviews. But I can't avoid it here. This is a Far cry from either other burrito places OR from other Atomic businesses/restaurants. Had a takeaway: two large burritos, one small and one rice bowl for a wheat-allergic person. 1. There was WAY TOO MUCH rice & lettuce in all dishes. 2. Mine - as a diabetic I have no rice in my burrito - was so floppy and lumpy, you could not hold it to eat. 3. Almost everyone skipped guac & sour cream, asking for extra cheese, instead. We could not taste the cheese. We were so annoyed, we cut the burritos open, to look for cheese! We found tiny shreds sparsely spread in the rice& lettuce. 4. Pulled pork was tasteless. 5. Beef chipotle had a vague chipotle smell. No taste. 6. Spicy stuff was barely noticeable. Mild stuff made no difference at all.
Decent food, but we've ordered from deliveroo several times, and have yet to receive a well labeled order. Usually, it's merely unclear which order is which, but yesterday a vegetarian and pork burrito were labeled the wrong way around. We won't be ordering from them again.
Really delicious burritos, very fast service, very nice staff. The guy forgive me for not knowing his name considering we've been 3 times already... is particularly friendly and nice. Always makes you feel welcome. Great place
I don't know what happened to the person below? Tastier burritos than the already good Mission. All extras are included in the price and the £10 one is largely filling. They converted me!
Big Ron's is a great place to visit after work with friends or on a night out. It's the perfect place to socialise. The Burritos are quite possibly the best in Oxford. The value for money is also pretty decent.
Why eat here when you can go to mission burrito! Portions are smaller, more expensive, filled with lots of rice and beans and very little of everything else. And they got my order wrong! Not coming back.
