Fantastic little adult only site within walking distance of Seahouses 25 minutes. Pitches are level and all have water and EHU. No showers or toilets but we were aware of that before we wents and are happy using our own facilities.
Beautiful quiet caravan site better than we expected. A small family run site 2 to 3 minutes drive from the amazing Northumberland coast. 5 minutes walk if you're fit and don't suffer from leg problems:. Please read up on site amenities as 1 person mentioned to us about no wash rooms but I did mention to him that it was mentioned in the booking conditions. If your in a caravan surley you have washing facilities inside. WiFi was little fussy but we got through it, the owners seem very approachable if a problem arises.
Well looked after small site. No shower or toilet block so need to be self contained. Short walk to a local pub and a bit further to Seahouses. Dog friendly with a small dog walking field adjacent. Slightly longer walk to Bamburgh Castle along the beach, road or footpath.
Second time here this year. Lovely quiet site that is only just over a mile from Seahouse front.
What a lovely site. Only about 12 spots for motorhomes or caravans. No camping allowed and no toilets or showers so be prepared to use your own. A small dog park is on there but a prime and perfect location just to take off and walk in and around within a couple of miles and your right on seahouses, the harbour or the beach.The other way and not sure how far you then have Bamburgh and what a beach as well as a castle. Loved everything about the area and the views are out there as one of the best.
The site is lovely. But I can’t justify the cost, considering there are no real facilities. TBH, I blame myself for not spotting that there aren’t showers, etc. But hey ho. Have since noted the owners comments, also their response in general to all reviews. Seems if you give fully positive feedback, they love you. But, are completely defensive should you say anything negative. At £28 a night for just a pitch with EHU, It’s well above the norm. Dread the thought of the wind gets up, as I’ll cost you extra if you pop up a windbreaker. I agree that Seahouses is a pleasant place to visit, but it ain’t on this pedestal that they kinda want to put it on. Think the owners need to remove the rose tinted glasses.
Quiet, small campsite 1 mile from Seahouses and 3 miles to Bamburgh.
Rather good to be honest, sort of small site we would use again. Perfect for what we wanted.
Lovely quiet site, was handy for the places we wanted to go to.
