Found the hotel comfortable but a bit stuffy. Dining too formal and expensive, decided to eat out only 5 minute walk to local facilities. Good location for ferry.

Yeah it might need some tlc but that won't happen overnight. The staff were welcoming, it was dog friendly, it had history & character and the food was delicious.

A jewel of a hotel. The staff and owner are kind, thoughtful, and interesting. Jason, the springer spaniel is definitely the best part though. The location is perfect. The food is very good. Would love to see what renovations are made through the years. Price is reasonable, rooms are clean and comfortable.
