Was the injured party with my partner and dog in a road collision this week. The officers who came to the scene were wonderful and really helped calm us down. They took us to the police station to get warm, get a cup of coffee, and called a taxi for us. They do a very good job in many different ways, and we're really grateful.

I had writen a draft of a letter to send, but this review is far more simple. Basically after experiencing what your 'Sister' Police station has on it's website with a one star review dialing 101 and waiting, and waiting, I decided to pay you a visit....even then met with a formidable 'Yellow Phone' where the process started all over again NOT BEING ABLE TO SPEAK WITH ANYBODY! Then one of your Excellent 'Boys in Blue" actually decided to stop and ask ( even though he had finished his shift) could he be of help. He could not have been more helpfull, not at all condesending,really willing to do the best he could given the circumstances.....showed real concern. ADRIAN PCSO 799...Brilliant Guy! As an overseas visitor just what I would have expected from the Great British Police Force ( he even took the trouble to ring back the next day, to confirm that all was well) TIP: do away with the Yellow Phone Guys. Let the real 'Bobby's do their Job, like ADRIAN Bernie R.

This use to be a fully functioning Police Station. After recent cuts it is now an Imigration registration center. There is no longer a public counter. If you are a victim of crime you have to make an appointment to give evidance. No lights on in the public waiting area evenings and weekends even if you have made an appointment. Waiting area lit by street lamps only after office hours. Don't expect a quick responce in LS28 as officers have to be sent from South Leeds.

Our police do a great job. The annual open day here is a great opportunity to go inside and see what life is like there.
