Popular park. The playing fields are busy with various football teams at weekends. Woods for walking - popular with local dog walkers. Children’s/toddlers play area enclosed by a hedge. Sometimes a pop up tea/coffee vans at weekends in the car park. Only complaint is when the field is busy with football parking is difficult as the car park is full & some cars park a bit In considerately not thinking of other vehicles getting out of their spaces or being able to get round & exit the car park & quite a few large potholes.
Great huge park, it has kids play area and Tennis, Pickleball, Basketball courts..available free ...cricket pitch, parking area, woods for walking/exploring..
Very busy car park full 55 cars and very muddy what else can you do on a Sunday in lockdown go to the park
This place has the obligatory fun stuff, swings, climbing structures, exercise equipment, tennis courts and a mini football pitch. If the local football team are not playing there's also the cricket team you can watch also. The open fields are fun to fly kites walk dogs and whatever you feel to do, there's cattle at the end of field so you can watch them graze or walk along the path in-between. If that's not enough you have the woods where you can cycle, walk dogs, jog or take the kids and tell spooky stories. Honest it's a fun thing to do.
A nice open space with woodland to one side of the park. It is used by all ages making use of all the facilities on offer. It does have a portaloo placed behind the children's play area, however I feel the toileting facilities lacking, hence four stars instead of five.
