Last minute decision to go to the nearest park after picking up my kid Sis at the train station & what a good choice, they have a play park for the kids, a lovely big green with benches so you can chill & I also had my dog with me & I’d used all my poo bags I had but what a lovely touch as you enter the green they have a billboard with a poo bag dispenser on it for free so I took a couple of bags. As we walked around the green my dog took us towards the trees & omg there was a beautiful forest which we explored & Zeus my dog loved it. Lovely place, very chilled & plenty of space for dogs & kids to play or have a picnic & there is even a Car Park which was an extra bonus. Lovely area too, a well enjoyed afternoon with my Kid Sis xxxxx

Nice park that is well patronized. Many exercising dogs in the mornings and evenings, and plenty of dog pop bins
An attractive park. However it's very well used, including football games etc.so can get very muddy. Beautiful border flowers at present, which has helped the area to get a Britain in Bloom award. Some good woodland walks too.
Lovely clean park, with a pretty good children’s play area.nNice place to relax and ponder.
