I needed an international driving licence, I checked online and it stated this branch processed the permit over the counter. So I popped down with all the documents and photos, only to be told that the post office website is wrong and even though I had picked up the form from another smaller branch of the post office, that no post offices can process this permit, I need to call the AA. I rang the main post office in town who informed me they can process the permit over the counter, went there the next day and they sorted it! To top it off they wouldn't accept my old pound coins even though in all national newspapers the post office had advertised accepting the coins, (Well depositing them into your bank on your behalf). These two old souls running this branch seemed to be running an independent post office under there own rules!! TERRIBLE SERVICE, SHAME ON YOU POST OFFICE FOR NOT TRAINING YOUR STAFF ADEQUATELY!

Good place to do some shops, even clothing, refueling the car, carpark very busy at weekends.

Normally long queues and staff miserable. We use click and drop and use another post office instead as they don't understand how it works so takes ages. Apart from that all facilities car tax passport etc.

We saw online that you offered check and send for passport applications so we drove over to find that the young girl there wasn't trained for this service. Obviously this isn't her fault but she stated that this service is only available if the person who is able to provide it is rotered in for a shift! I would imagine most people would think this service is available as per the post office opening times as it is advertised at the front of the store too.
