I stayed in Oak lodge during the weekend of 25th - 28th March 2022 with my wife, friends and our children. From arriving on the Friday afternoon through to leaving on the Monday morning a great time was had by all. The accommodation was fantastic, lots of space, clean, modern and with everything we needed. The jacuzzi was a nice touch, enjoyed by the children during the day and by the adults during the evenings and into the night whilst slurping a beer!! absolutely fantastic!! The views and surrounding scenery was great and the fishing lakes beautiful, We managed to wet a line and caught quite a few fish. Would definitely recommend West Pitt Lakes and Lodges. I will definitely be booking a second visit.

This was the second time we have been to these lodges so we knew that the lodges and the view were stunning! However, the view has matured over the past 2 years and we were blown away at just how beautiful it is there! Our son and daughter came with their partners, everyone had an amazing time and no one wanted to leave! Just the perfect holiday! Booking next year as we write!!!
Lovely location, stunning views, peaceful and lots of great walks close by. The lodges are really well kitted out and very smart and comfortable, and the view of the lake from the hot tubs is a particular highlight. The owners are very helpful and accommodating too, I'll definitely book again.Rooms: 5/5
What a fantastic week away. The location was stunning and the lodge was 5 star. Everything in it was quality and immaculately clean. It was lovely to retreat there after visiting busy beaches and just relaxing. I would totally recommend it.Rooms: 5/5

Perfect location with lovely view of the lake. Perfect for the dog also. Lodge was very clean and was all kitted out to a high standard. The fishing provided plenty of fun too! Excellent owners, will definately be looking to go back
Stayed in a few lodges with hot tubs and this was by far the best! Well equipped everything you could think of was there, blankets, plenty of towels, fan ect. The view from the hot tub over looking the lake was amazing. Couldn't recommend this place enough will definitely be back and very soon I hope.Rooms: 5/5
We had another great week at West Pitt Lakes and couldn’t recommend it more for a week or two of total relaxation. The lodges are clean tidy and extremely well equipped! We were most impressed with the cupboard being stocked with anti bacterial wipes and cleaners. There’s a lot of thought given to putting essentials there for you for example dishwasher tablets- cleaning clothes - sugar tea coffee- foil - cling film and washing tablets! The hot tub had been emptied and re filled and we had to wait for the temp to rise not ready day arrival but ready the next morning this was absolutely fine as I’d rather have this confidence that it had been cleaned! The lake is full of fish and my boys loved going down playing on the swing in the tree and catching fish with Daddy. Lovely walks around both lakes sometimes in my pjs as you feel very much alone in the countryside here. Wildlife galore we spotted two herons the kingfisher and the little duck on the lake. The view from the beds straight out to the lake when the suns coming up or down is just spectacular. Just a fantastic stay we will definitely be back for a third holiday
Fantastic ! We were lucky enough to have booked a week away for early June 2021 before lockdown really came in and what a brilliant week we had. From arrival the place was immaculate. All three bedroom have ensuite with two having baths and all with wet rooms and the lodge is made to a very high standard. All the amenities are there for you to self cater if you want which we did a few times as well as have a BBQ but found ourselves walking with our Daschund 'Bailey' to local pubs as the weather was great. The lodge is tucked away from the hustle and bustle so all you hear is tweeting of birds. The view is stunning, overlooking a small fishing pond and it's a bit of a sun trap at the back if you just want to relax and top up your tan. Having a hot tub is another bonus which we used a few times and at night the lights in the hot tub add that extra glitz. We met Seb during our stay and he is a top bloke and made our stay welcoming We definitely want to come back again Donna, Tony, Leah and Bailey dog x 5 *****
