Nice friendly staff with  a warm welcome. I was at a funeral tea. Lovely fresh selection of sandwiches and delicious hot sausage rolls.

Lovely food, freshly prepared. Reasonably priced and really tasty. Great menu and very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice place for a meal etc great service and staff are friendly and very helpful would recommend and will be going back in the future.

for a double room 2 people on a Saturday night just outside Glasgow - there is nothing to complain about in comparison to price. Towels were soft, bed was comfortable. The room had heating you can control yourself, curtains were good material. Reception staff at night was very accommodating as I wanted to arrive after midnight and he gave me his number to call when I was outside, didn't even wait 60 secs and he was there to greet us. Really good value for money

Good value for money and a great location to be ready to head off to the Highlands in the morning. Friendly staff. Bar closes fairly late. Good atmosphere. I think this place has poor reviews because it's mainly about their food. I didn't have anything to eat so cannot comment but if you're just here to stay at the hotel, I would recommend.
