A great train station that is really easy to use and a great way to get to and from an event at the stadium. There are colour coordinated lines that make it easy to find the route you want to take and it is well organised to avoid long queues.
Wembley Stadium, a football stadium in Wembley, London, is the second-largest stadium in the world by capacity and the largest in Europe. It was opened in 2007 on the site of the original Wembley Stadium, which was demolished from 2002 to 2003. The stadium hosts major football matches including home matches of the England national football team, and the FA Cup Final. It has also hosted a number of other major sporting events, including the UEFA Champions League Final and the Rugby League World Cup Final.nnArchitecture and DesignnnThe stadium is a modern architectural marvel, with a stunning arching roof that can be retracted. Must visit stadium with 90000 spectators capacity more than 2000 toilets, largest stadium in Europe, event held every 1- 2 and has about 50-70 events a year. Awesome ambience and value for money if you are football lover.
I attended AEW ALL IN at Wembley Stadium on the 27th August 2023. It was my first time here, never been to a stadium anywhere near this size since I was paralyzed and wheelchair bound. So taking that all into account and over 70,000 people in attendance I had the best time. The key thing for my rating is how helpful the staff were. From when we arrived near the massive queue almost immediately we were noticed and directed to a place where we could gain easier access to the venue.nnGoing through the bag search was fine, I suggest getting in touch with Wembley if you have a bag larger than a4 size. I did so very late and they responded within hours to give me a certificate to allow me to bring a bigger bag into the venue which I need for disability reasons. From there we were then escorted into the main waiting area and when the time came went through the turnstiles.nnWe were lucky enough to have hospitality tickets along with accessible seating. Staff were again very helpful directing us not only to where we would be sitting for the show but also to the buffet pre show. Again staff were very helpful in the buffet, there was plenty of room to zip around and adequate seating was in abundance. It provided all of us the chance to destress after the journey down and look forward to the show.nnLastly in terms of the seating it was a large area with plenty of room for all manner of chairs. There was a large gap between pairs of seats and the view was incredible. Having been to a fewer lesser than impressive venues it was a great change of pace and staff were always at hand ready to help. For instance when the action was close to us they ushered people away who were standing and blocking my view in particular without prompting.nnToilets wise there was a large toilet right next to our seating area so it was literally seconds away and was easily accessible again. I believe there are toilets all over which are accessible also but we didn't have chance to look around much. From what I saw though I was very impressed and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful or welcoming.nnUpon our exit it was clear and easy to get out where we needed. I can't state enough how incredible the experience was and it was only helped by the amazing venues staffing. I plan on going back to take my father for a tour and look forward to seeing how that is for accessibility
