Review of Wembley Park StationnnWembley Park Station is a clean and modern station in London. It is very busy on event days because it is close to Wembley Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley. The station is well organised and easy to follow with clear signs.nnThe staff are helpful, and there are ticket machines available. There are also lifts and escalators, which make it easier for people with luggage, wheelchairs, or pushchairs.
Anonymous and lacklustre with no defining fingerprint for the destination - a national stadium.nRote and drab station platforms with no anticipatory indication nor sense of event.nDespite the substantial refurbishment and expansion in conjunction with the opening of the new Wembley Stadium in 2007 the station is VERY basic, albeit functional and purposed for facilitating“match-day” crowds with step-free access between platforms and street level.nThe toilet facilities tucked away under a staircase are risibly inadequate and outdated.
Absolute shambles of a station. Departure board has not displayed correct times for previous 6 years. Now it doesn't display anything at all.nIf that's not bad enough, there's also people tailgating you at the barriers or riding for free by pushing through the wide access gates. Staff just stand around and chat or look at their phones.
Wembley’s train stations consistently receive positive reviews from commuters and visitors alike, particularly due to their excellent connectivity and proximity to major attractions like Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena. Wembley Park Station is highly praised for its efficient service on both the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, with fast connections to central London—just two stops from Baker Street. It’s especially convenient during major events thanks to its spacious layout and crowd-handling capabilities. Wembley Central Station also earns good reviews for its wide range of transport links, including the Bakerloo line, London Overground, and National Rail services. Located on the bustling High Road, it offers easy access to shops and eateries and has been upgraded with step-free access, making it more accessible. Wembley Stadium Station, operated by Chiltern Railways, stands out for offering a direct route to London Marylebone and being the closest station to the stadium, making it a favourite for event-goers looking for quick and easy access. Collectively, these stations provide a reliable and well-connected travel experience for anyone visiting the Wembley area.
Jubilee and Metropolitan LinesnnBuggy/WheelChair access to Platforms [Lifts at the far end]nnBusy on Match Days or big events at the stadium.
