I was diagnosed with chronic migraines 15 years ago and prescribed the highest dose of medication which i was told i would have to take for life. Fast forward a year, i no longer take my medication and very rarely experience migraines. I used to get up to 3 migraines a week and now i may experience one every 5/6 months. This is all thanks to Wellpoint Acupuncture. Please put your trust into these amazing professionals. You will be looked after and listened too and it will provide extra support! I have now returned for weekly acupuncture to assist with fertility. I have faith this will work too! Thank you.
This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Wellpoint for over a year for a variety of issues including insomnia, migraines and hormonal problems. The wealth of experience and expertise is incredible and everyone is extremely dedicated and caring. I no longer need medications as the migraines have nearly stopped and the sleep has greatly improved. Wellpoint Acupunture has been such a life saver that I always look forward to my weekly session.
It's my first time ever trying acupuncture, and I must say I was a bit skeptic but very much open to trying something new to combat my chronic pain, indigestion issues and migraines. I have done it twice now with Wellpoint once with Dunia and once with Nina and I already feel my body has changed drastically. I have been dealing with body pain for the past 7 years, and I can finally say I have not felt any body pain or daily indigestion since I started acupuncture. I just want to say thank you so much ladies for changing my life. I am so much happier and lighter and I cannot thank you enough for that.
I have been having acupuncture at WellPoint for the last 3 months and highly recommend it. The staff are kind, supportive, skilled and very knowledgable.
I’ve been going to Wellpoint Acupuncture for the past few weeks for various issues including anxiety. Every therapist I have seen takes the time to listen to you and take on board how you are feeling week after week. The first time I had treatment I was almost hyperventilating and my heart racing beyond my control. Something that occurs in my day to day life fairly frequently despite being on medication. However since my acupuncture treatment just 3 sessions so far I’ve noticed the frequency and definitely the severity has dramatically reduced. The team there are all very lovely, professional and also offer advice outside of acupuncture including recommend a herbalist which I’ve just seen and starting a course of treatment with. Highly recommend.The therapist are just great and the ambience gentle and calming. It’s also affordable and located in a lovely building with a cafe and beautiful gardens. Bonus! Best Celia
I've been a patient at Wellpoint for over two years or so and I could not recommend them enough. I had such bad neck, my arms would go num and my fingers would cramp; I'm a nail technician, and since my first session I noticed the benefits. I'm so happy I don't depend on painkillers anymore. The pain is not the main character and I can live my life normally; it was like I was given a new body. The headaches also have stoped. I started going religiously once a week for like eight or nine moths, now I go every now and then for "maintenance". The women who run it are lovely and very professional. It's worth to also mention the price, this place is an absolute gem.
Excellent! Cannot speak highly enough! I’ve been diagnosed with migraines with aura in June. Heavy migraines every other day and ending at A& E every week. My neurologist suggested either beta-blockers or an acupuncture as an alternative. Didn’t believe in acupuncture at first. Started my treatment with Debbie one of the acupuncturists at the beginning of August. I’ve had a treatment every week. It’s October now and I cannot believe it actually works! My migraines and its auras dropped from 15 a month to….. 1 ! with a really mild symptoms, manageable by a simple paracetamol. Will highly recommend WellPoint Acupuncture to anyone struggling with migraines! Even if you don’t believe in alternative medicine like me, at the beginning. Very friendly and professional!
I used acupuncture a lot in the past, for a variety of treatments. Wellpoint is one of the best I have been to. Very professional with an excellent consultation before hand. I had a trapped nerve in my shoulder which was causing me a lot of pain. After the first treatment the pain had dropped by fifty percent. I had another 4 sessions and it stopped the pain completely. They don't try to make you take more sessions then you need like some clinics. A professionally run clinic with friendly well trained staff. Highly recommended.
I was diagnosed with Ramey Hunt Syndrome / Bell’s Palsy left side of face drooping with no movement - After 4 months of no recovery from Physiotherapy – I was informed that I may need to have surgery to recover Acupuncture was the last resort for recovery without surgery – I visited Tess and …... Simply excellent results and fantastic acupuncture experience, the best you will find! From the first visit, I could tell Tess cares about your health and she put me at total ease.. She advised me of diet changes, I needed to make and planned my treatment. After 4 sessions of Acupuncture the recovery process started I wished I had been to see Tess within a few days of the condition After regular Acupuncture sessions and change of diet I am almost recovered and am confident I will fully recover without surgery Acupuncture may take time for recovery but definitely worth it I have had most of my Acupuncture sessions with Tess and Annetta but have also had treatments with Ghila and Debbie... all 4 ladies are very good The team regularly have meeting to discuss plan of action for each patient and recovery progress I would definitely highly recommend Tess and the Wellpoint Clinic anytime. Over a long time I have attended the Wellpoint Clinic for acupuncture sessions, for a variety of problems. So far I have consulted three of the clinicians, all charming. There is an atmosphere of charm and peace, making it easier to talk with them and then to relax during treatment. The background soothing music helps. They have been able to eliminate some nasty discomforts for which I am very grateful. Professor Stanley Gelbier
