Hospitality is clearly a top priority here. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms have everything you need and are spotlessly clean.nnAs we were traveling with dogs, we were given a room in the courtyard with direct access to the gate, which was perfect. Within seconds we were out on the beautiful fields behind the hotel, enjoying stunning views over the countryside.nnThe hotel is very centrally located in St Just, with restaurants and a supermarket directly across the street. We felt very comfortable and would happily stay here again.
First trip to St Jus. We stayed in 2 of the Wellington’s rooms. Good place to bunk down for the night in order to visit other locations like Lands End, Sennen Cove and Penzance.nnThe staff were faultless and always happy to assist and ensure we were comfortable.nnBreakfast was very very good. However, need to improve on the speed of service of breakfast or possibly extend hours of Breakfast service.nnWe hope to be back soon!
I have booked this hotel in advance to stay during a walking holiday. When arrived, I was invited to room number 5 on a ground floor. I entered and immediately smelled heavy stench of damp. I have not even checked the room as te smell was overwhelming.nCoincidentally my card contactless payment did not work, so in the end I did not to get charged an unbelievable of £135!nI was lucky to have had a car as otherwise I would have nowhere to stay as everything else local was booked out.
We was made to feel very welcomenRooms was lovely, clean and warm. It was lovely to see bath not just a shower especially as we only have a shower at home :nnBreakfast was nice and cooked well with a choice of a full breakfast or porridge with fruit and honey.nnWe had a enjoyable evening in the hotel bar the first night of arrival to be honest maybe to good of a night the hangover the next day was epic lol.nnOverall I would recommend anyone to use this place and will definitely be back again.nThank you to all staff
We based ourselves in St Just for a few days to visit the very end of Cornwall, and also visited all 5 pubs in St Just including the golf clubhouse near Cape Cornwall. I'm only giving the Wellington Hotel a specific mention because of the Apple Crumble dessert I had there. By far the best I've ever had anywhere except home made at home and a really good size portion
