Can't fault the place. Stayed one night while on a trip. Rooms were great and food was brilliant. Staff really friendly and professional. Out of season they normally stop serving evening meals at 7pm. We were late arriving and they kept the kitchen open to feed us after 8pm. Breakfast was really nice too.
We were just eating, in an anteroom ... There was a garden in the back and a nicer room ...but ok. Unfortunately the food was not the best experience...the meat in the burger was burnt and very well cooked...the pub at the back, on the other hand, looks like it is worth a visit....
We arrived late on a Monday just before they were stopping serving lunch. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We all enjoyed our orders from the menu. The menu had gf options as well.
Happy with the food, lamb shank was delicious, however, you might need a trip to the co-op before hand, as the wait for food is insanely long, took 1hr & 20 mins to receive mains. Staff were a bit lacklustre, booked a table & when we arrived at the given time, we were greeted with a staff member saying ‘Can I help you’, our table wasn’t set so had to wait for it to be laid. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, we were a bit surprised at how off the mark the service was.
Beautiful flower garden at the back with plenty of seating. Food is lovely and good size portions .
