Friendly place with good beer and locals that tolerated a lycra clad cycling chap with little ribaldry. In short a good place ( plus a chippy that sells fish that tastes like fish not cardboard next door).

Lovely dinner in a quintessential, cosy Cornish Pub! The Sirloin was cooked as specified and was perfect. Thanks to Dan the landlord for looking after us and for a great night!

Came in 28th Dec 2017. 12oclock lunch....... Hour later we finally got our food. Never again!!!coffee was tepid. Cold food, sauce never came with the chicken. I had to go and ask then it was runny. we were waiting as people had been served before us who came in after us. Expensive too for a bit of cold mash small chicken breast and rubber veg runny sauce yuk!! Need to change the chef.

Lovely pub in St Just. We came here early for a evening meal and wasn't disappointed. Staff were very friendly and service was quick, even my dog got a treat of some biscuits (nice touch). It does get busier later on though. Couldn't fault the food at all. Definitely worth a visit if in the area. Free car park just down the road.
