We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night, fast service, kind staff, AMAZING pizza. The ingredients were all fresh, they let me create my own pizza. Burrata was nice and creamy. Recommended

On a stressful day I came across Well St Pizza in hackney and decided to get myself a pizza and pineapple juice. I was served by a lovely young lady Lorraine - who accompanied by the rest of the staff, allowed me to forget the stressful day I had. Such a lovely and calming environment - will definitely be going back !
I went to Well Street Pizza to celebrate my birthday. I couldn't choose a better place. Reasonably priced excellent pizza! Charming, efficient and professional staff. It was fun too! Take time to go, if you like good pizza!
The pizza is ok, nothing great nothing great. But the service... Oh my God, the service is bad, really bad. It took us long time to be considered by the waiters, then other ages to get the menu, then another insane amount of time for our order to be taken. Then the pizza arrived super quick. But then again to get the bill another 20 min and we were ready to pay straight away, with our card ready, but the waiter replied "let me get the machine"...and disappeared again. Completely forgot about us. Waiting another 20 minutes just to pay our bills!!!! And the place was empty! So it wasn't a problem of being super busy... It could be a 4 stars for the pizza, but the service is an absolutely disaster.
I went today with my friend and cousin and I must say the food was fantastic, the lady that served us was running around as it was busy but she was so fantastic, her customer service was fantastic I completely forgot to ask her name, but she was great.Recommended dishesGarlic Bread with Cheese
Covid-19 Pandemic Second Wave review Nice staff, pizza was made on time and it was not too busy. Price was fair, and portion I would say is ok. Sorry I cannot review in depth because I nearly forgot how the experience went. The pizza decor was nice but it had burnt to one of the sides, sorry I took a bad photo. The restaurant is good for hanging out with friends, for drinking or dining. Taste of the pizza was OK, I like it because it did not taste like Domino's or Pizza Hut/Express. It tasted like a proper Italian pizza, the dour and tomatoes used were nice. Reminds me of Jamie's Italian pizza. You can dine inside or outside, or have your meal as takeaway. We had takeaway so I do not know what service charge cost by dining in, if there's any. I would recommend this place if you love pizza and want to try out different pizza.
I've been here 3 times over the past year, and each time the staff are so rude. I never really write reviews but their horrible attitude has made me want to say this. They forgot part of our order but didn't apologize and we had to wait an extra 45 mins for our food, previously I've dined in and the staff forgot about our table for 30 mins and when they did finally come back they rushed us out. Another time we didn't even stay because the waitress was being so rude to us. Going through the bad reviews I'm genuinely surprised to see this has been a long term ongoing issue for them. They aren't capable of not being rude to customers so why bother going.

Great pizza - we've been to a few birthday parties here, and the staff, vibe and food has always been top stuff. Nice airy ground floor level with lots of exposed wood, and a lower basement level with wee bar at one end. A good location a short walk from Victoria Park
