Lovely food ,drink ,and service will be back ,very good and exceptional viewFood: 5/5
Great place, my local. I don't go every day but I'm always welcomed when i do pop in for a lovely pint. Great range of the usual beers plus some others. Great jukebox, pool table and darts, clean and well maintained. No experience of the food so no stars does not mean zero, just no review. In all great local, good atmosphere, large TV with sports and small lounge for quiet drinking and chatting. Special nights for other entertainment as well, I believe.
Nice little boozer. My son has just got into pool, and with limited options in stevenage with a place to play this pub really helped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the locals allowed me and my son to play 7/8 uninterrupted games.Service: 5/5
Lovely pub, great people.Service: 4/5
The atmosphere here is unique, people are friendly and considerate, the beer is great for a reasonable price and the barman a professional. I've found a new place where I'll go to contemplate.
The Dun Cow is a pub my Uncle has been a patron of for almost my whole life. This pub has seen a fresh coat of paint and remodeling since the last time I saw it 12 years ago! Friendly staff, nice owners, lots on draft, and a good place to support the local neighbourhood.
Good selection of beverages. Great staff. Pool table, big screen sports temporarily suspended in the current climate of panic ... And a jukebox that isn't always on minimum!! Smoking and seating areas to front and rear. Best thing though is it's a working class pub with a great atmosphere!!! Pop in for a Swifty :-
On a Monday, not crowded. Pleasant place with many whiskies and gins and well kept beers. Not on the main drag of Stevenage Old Town, but an easy distance from the High Street.
Was quite a nice little boozer until an overweight, self opinionated man decided that everyone within about 1 mile had to share his opinions and his depleted vocabulary. This sort of behavior is unacceptable anywhere but especially in a place where people are trying to relax and have a pleasant chat. It is not the first time this same person has acted in this way and if he cannot control himself then he needs to be barred. I for one will not visit again.
Sublime as everService: 4/5
