Good facilities, polite and helpful staff.nnExcellent for what it is.nnI use the swimming pool regularly and it's always clean and not overly crowded in the lanes.
Lovely place for a walk while you are in the area.
Always good to have a stand however there was lots of grass areas for deck chairs and tents
Swimming, running/athletics track, tennis centre, football pitches, and a park to walk around. Parkruns on a Saturday, junior park runs on a Sunday so good space for locals.nnSometimes has youths on scramblers!
Today I went to the pool for the first time after having been in a coma for 7 weeks.nThe staff were superb and I found out I couldn’t swim, sank like a brick. However I walked round the edges, ventured across the middle, had a little float and repeated.nI was offered floats etc and knowing the staff were there for me made all the difference. I’m going again next week.
