The only proper bookshop in a large town (Doncaster). Excellent selection of books in all categories on the shelves. Escalator / lift to 1st floor as well as stairs. Staff friendly and helpful as well as very knowledgeable. Books not in store usually obtained quickly. Excellent selection of maps including Ordnance Survey, motoring, travel etc. Good children's section ; toddlers to young adults. Costa Coffee in store with comfortable seating & view out over the Minster. A real oasis in the covered Frenchgate shopping mall.

Full of books. What else. Nice Costa upstairs. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice selection of books, with a costa upstairs if you want to read and drink. Staff are always very informative and happy to help.

I love bookshops and even though Waterstones is a big chain, its worth a visit. Biggest complaint is that it hosts a Costa Coffee shop which has spread out to take over a large chunk previously devoted to books.
