One of the best and well known bookstores in UK. It has different types of books and stationary stuff. Some has coffee shops to enjoy reading and books glancing.
I recently visited this place that also serves coffee and I was extremely pleased with my experience. The bookstore had a wide selection of books, including new releases and hard-to-find titles. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The coffee they served was also delicious, with a variety of flavors and blends to choose from. I would highly recommend this bookstore to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a great selection of books.
Very well spaced, modern building just off the main street. Friendly staff and well stocked. Love all the music connections in store. Bonus of having a quick effective cafe even when busy. Will definitely visit again
I enjoy shopping at this large Waterstones branch, it's full of real book lovers and it has an amazing cafe, it really is a treat, well laid out over two floors, but it does have an escalator and probably a lift. We'll worth a visit.
This is the best Waterstones I know. Great place to go and browse, but careful, you can spend a lot more time here than you intended and end up buying a load of books you weren't planning on buying! Great coffee too!
The guy who served me was serving someone else when I reached the enquiry desk, as I stood there waiting he let me know he was aware of me and he would be with me as soon as he could, I waited for about 5 mins if that and twice in that time he would be with me ASAP which was absolutely no problem. The store was heaving, and he was obviously going as fast as he could. When it came to my turn, I gave him scant detail and couldn't even give him the correct book title, but he found the book I was after, which was unfortunately out of stock in store but available online, he double checked it was the signed copy I was looking for and I went happily on my way, very good service, in a very busy store. Also the store was very tidy considering and I could see plenty of staff ready to help.
First time in the Liverpool ONE store was.. underwhelming. Nice shop well staffed but a surprisingly poor selection of books. Pricing is also well outside of High Street pricing. It's simply not worth it. Go there for your research, get your coffee, then buy online.
Workers in the actual book store are very polite and helpful. However manager came and asked us to leave the cafe after finishing our drinks, basically kicked us out, even tho the cafe was empty? very rude. Won’t be going back
Book signing with the one & only francis bourgeois the staff were very kind offering chair for disabled partner while waiting !
Large selection of books. Good layout and book categories easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good experience.
