Incredible shop. Vast variety of alternative, academic, political and lifestyle books and gifts. Very friendly staff and lots of notes on notice board for local classes, groups and public events. This is a must for visitors.

This is a great place to buy books and you can order online and pick up at the bookshop. Much happier buying from here than Amazon etc

Excellent independent Bookshop. Can order anything in print. Something of an oasis of calm in a vibrant and cosmopolitan area. A radical environment which in the true sense of the word, encouraging non-opressive thought through the written word and other media. The staff are knowledgeable and approachable. It's not often that I would say this about any establishment ; but if Bookselling were an exact science, no-one else would need to bother
