Been here a couple of times and here is what I have found.
Don't expect speedy service, some of staff are slow and inattentive with no concept of customer service. Out of all the 4 staff i have been served by over the several times I have been there, only one had a personality and was passionate about his job. This forces the question, is management applying consistent training and standards to staff?

If you know what you want and what section to find it in you will be alright, if you want help make sure you have enough time and patience to deal with their slow and sometimes arrogant attitude. 

My suggestion, look online and reserve it before you go in, that way you can find what you want easily and just go in and pay and save some time.

I like Waterstones and buy regularly, however the Wimbledon store have incredibly rude staff, including sniggering about a customer that just left.  Why would I want to shop in such an unwelcoming place.
