Sunday lunch here after medium hike. Can only say that all meals were excellent. Compliments to the chef. Slow roast belly pork, lamb and beef to perfection. Lovely tasty vegetables cooked precisely. Very hearty portions for a very good price. Raspberry and white chocolate mousse, profiteroles and chocolate fudge cake spot on. Draft Rev James and large Red wines to wash it all down. Very recommended excellent service from very friendly staff. We will be here again!

Sensational first pub lunch for three years while holidaying in UK before Christmas. New staff member was really helpful, and our meals were lovely.. the view over the river is great, and the prices are really good. My wife asked if a cheese platter was possible... it not being on the menu... and it was whipped up in no time. A great find, and so close to the castle.

Loved the restaurant. This is really three pubs in one. There's a lively pub where the real ales and craic are flowing. You walk through the pub to get to the quieter classic pub restaurant, and then there's a serene terrace looking over the millpond, which is a great place to chill in the summer. Recommend the seafood and the lamb pie was great.
