Lovely crisp batter and the chips were just right, we had king size cod and large chips twice and it was enough for our family of four. If we were staying longer than a week we'd definitely be back! The staff were working hard in the very hot weather.
Stopped off on Saturday evening about 8pm for dinner. Not sure if we arrived near closing time, but there was a limited selection of food ready. Opted for cod and chips twice. It was okay, chips were piping hot but bit firm and the fish was hiding in the batter somewhere but took a bit of finding. Sadly expected better at a coastal resort and Rowlies didn't live up to expectations.
Wow. The best fish and chips I had in a long time. Very cozy, friendly. Large portions. Fantastic place. Kids friendly. Fresh!!! Clean!!!Food: 5/5
Been using Replies Fish and chips for a number of years, always top class, eating in or take away, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I walk 6 miles once a week to have fish and chips from Rowlies. Went for another meal today @ 1 o'clock, 31st October 2022. Absolutely delicious again. Why go to the rest when this is the best. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with plenty of choice for kids and all at sensible prices Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access with plenty of room around most tables and the staff will make sure you are well looked after.
I have travelled the land from East to West, and Rowlies fish, chips and pies are some of the best... Finely cooked chips, and perfectly crisp cod, the food here tastes soo good, you can't help but be a greedy sod! Most of all, what is really great, the portions are generous and will fill up your plate! Forget Maccies, go here instead! Eat in or out, plus, dogs are welcome.
Been here twice on holidays and now make a point of visiting Rowlies eavh time we come down to Pembrokeshire. The best fish and chips around; fresh, hot, tasty and great valueFood: 5/5
Really nice chip shop in Pembroke town near the castle. Great tasting food and great friendly staff. Sit in or take away.Food: 5/5
Cool little restaurant. Conveniently located, especially if you come from the castle and are hungry. We received a very friendly welcome. You order at the counter. The food was freshly made and delicious. Prices are really good! We ordered the special twice and were offered an additional children's plate without asking. Really great!
Good value, excellent fish & chips. Staff were very polite and helpful. Lovely, modern decor. Highly recommended.
Came in for fish and chips and a chicken fillet burger, lovely and clean. Helpful and cheerful staff. Food was freshly cooked to order and yummy x
