Beautiful, clean, surprisingly spacious apartment for my daughter and I on our brief stay in Benllech recently. Stunning view from the living area whatever time of day as well as tranquil sounds of water flowing through natural springs to the sea. Will definitely stay there again and look forward to doing so, thank you for making our stay so memorable Jules xx
Really nice location, Jules is very hospitable and very friendly. Felt very welcome here and she was very trans friendly, no issues at all which is always nice. The parking is tight and when neighbours don't respect the lines it is annoying to get car in but she does warn to be respectful and it is a shame when others don't heed that. The area is nice and the view from the Roost is amazing right towards the sea. There is a lovely watery feature right near the bedroom so you hear this lovely river sound at night which I find soothing. This is a personal preference but I would personally say the smells are bit strong from various things like what things might be washed with and plug in diffusers so if you have a sensitive nose you may want to turn them off when you get in here.. It feels a bit like waking into Lush when going in main entrance, which I'm sure I am in the minority for finding a bit much. So if you are someone who has smell sensitivities you may want to be aware though I am not really complaining it's just a personal preference. The place itself is amazing and cozy and feels like a real home with a lot of care put into it so would gladly come again to stay.
The apartment is really lovely, and our host is very friendly. We were in the Roost which has two beds and two ensuite bathrooms both with walk in showers. The front room overlooks the sea and, with the windows open, you can hear the waves. The only niggle is parking is up around the back of the building, up a very steep and narrow drive between two buildings, which is a little scary for novice drivers. Still we loved the place and plan on visiting again.
I can't praise this place highly enough. It has just been completely refurbished to a very high standard, and it all felt brand new and very comfortable. The views from one of the bedrooms and the lounge are directly on to the sea, and it is exhilarating to wake up to each morning. It is arranged as 3 double bedrooms around the lounge and kitchen. Just lovely.The owner, Julie was friendly and helpful. We had a great two days there and the family loved it.
On a cold windy and wet June day the welcome at the Waters Edge at Benllech was wonderful. The chap who greeted us made us so welcome. The service was friendly, efficient and we felt very comfortable. The food was superb. Fresh ingredients and stylishly presented and great flavours. The wine list was better than we had seen locally too. Don't let the ordinary seasidey exterior put you off - it might be a seaside cafe by day, but on the evenings each week it opens for dinner it his obviously special. Certainly the best meal we had during our holiday in the area. Had we stayed longer we would have eaten there again.
Had a short 3 day stay here absolutely beautiful appartment with stunning views, although the weather was pretty bleak for 2 of our 3 day stay still lots of local attractions to see or just sit and relax in the large appartment window seat and take in the stunning views, great if you need a relaxed chilled break thanks Jules will definitely be returning.
You can only get closer to the beach if you stayed in a sandcastle! Overlooking the bay and a good location for visiting any number of sites on the island.
Stunning apartment, great location, spotlessly clean with an extremely helpful and friendly host. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely perfect weekend away. Views beautiful. Will definitely be returning.
