I must start with a confession, I have not attended a dentist for some 12 years, I was expecting the worst given my ancient memories of receiving treatment!! From the initial consultation all the way through to what was some quite invasive surgery, I received insightful, gentle, attentive and professional care. The carefully thought through treatment plan was enacted in such a way that I was completely relaxed all the way through what was a 2 hour session - I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Dr. Alfie Chan and the team as my 'go-to' dentist!! Graeme.
Dr Alfie Chan Dentist and hygienist Lynn Cox are by far the best I’ve ever had. It has been 13 years since Ive seen a hygienist appointment and to say I was fearful is an understatement. Lynn was so kind. I am quite happy to go back for further treatments with Dr Chan and Lynn Cox.
I have just had a very successful root canal treatment at Wash Common that was done with such diligence and care. Everyone is welcoming and professional from the moment you walk into the practice. Thank you to all concerned.
I had my first appointment with Aryann today after being transferred to him by Liz at the same practice. At rhe age of 67 uve never liked the dentist and always nervous. He came out from his surgery to greet me in the waiting room and introduced himself. He put me at ease and his Nurse Reka was lovely too He was very gentle explaining everything to me. I had been booked in for a crown but after taking photos and x rays he advised me that the filling was stable and I didn't need it after all. Such a relief. I would happily recommend him to any nervous patient like myself.
This is a superb dental practice, one which I would recommend unreservedly. The standards that they set themselves are simply excellent, with an ethos of aiming for the absolute best. They encompass a huge range of dental skills, from simply teeth hygiene to complex surgery, all done with the welfare of the patient both during treatment and for the long term uppermost in their minds. There is no trouble that they will not go to for their clientele. Second to none.
I’ve been going to Wash Common Dental Practice for at least ten years now and I cannot rate them highly enough. In particular, they have handled the COVID crisis superbly, not just with ensuring patients are safe during visits but also with updates and advice via email throughout. Can definitely recommend them.

This has been the best dental practice I have ever attended. The staff are all professional, friendly and efficient and the service received second to none. From regular hygienist visits, annual check-ups to dental implants, the quality of care and work undertaken has been first class.
My family have been using this dentist since We moved to Newbury 20 years ago. I have found all of the staff as excellent kind and efficient. Nothing is ever too much bother for them. Service is great and you can always turn to them in an emergency I hope to be using them for many more years in the future
Wash Common Dental Practice deserve more than 5 stars! All the staff are helpful and reassuring and Dr Seepaul Singh is such an expert in his field and has the patience of a saint!
