I have been with this practice for many years and continue to be very happy with the treatment I receive. I have sometimes struggled with language issues with some of the receptionists but the present team is not only very efficient but friendly and caring. This is a very busy practice and one of the few that still treat patients on the NHS and accept new patients when they have space. I have seen a number of dentists at the practice and have found them all very good.
I tried to make an appointment for my 4 yr old son this morning. The receptionist was unhelpful, arrogant and had a poor understanding of plain English. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was refused contact. I have written cancelling the appointment I eventually obtained. If the standard of health care provided is the same as the service provided by the recepionist staff, I dont want them near my sons teeth.
I had 3 teeth pulled out which is what I wanted & they did a good job at that but the dentist had left part of my tooth & a day later it has gone black whilst the rest have healed
Rude receptionist who doesn't understand English one bit, it takes ages to actually do a simple 5 minute booking on the phone. You have to pay in advance to man an appoint and then she just cuts you off at the end. I will see how I get on but if not happy I will be going elsewhere.
Super Friendly Staff !!! My previous visit was around couple of months ago. I have to admit being lazy posting this late. Our 10 Yo Son had a sports related injury on his face resulting in swollen face, jaw pain and little loose tooth. I was informed by school and I immediately went to pick him from the school. I called up Baldev’s reception while on the way to the school. Two lovely ladies at the reception swiftly understood my situation and coordinated with each other while one was speaking to me and the other was finding me emergency appointment. I was really amazed that they booked me up for next available emergency appointment scheduled at 30-40 mins past my call. After arriving at the surgery, we were greeted by smiling Nurse followed by Dr Mistry who was our dentist to check up on our Child. Before he performed a checkup, not only he made him comfortable but also he had a friendly conversation with him. He was very patient and friendly too. After the checkup, we were lucky that my son’s tooth was intact and no other major injuries. Happy Days!!! A heartfelt big Thank you !! I would not hesitate to recommend this surgery to my friends, family or others.
Been here for years and always good treatment. There can be some communication difficulties which can be frustrating but on the whole and at the moment under current pressures, I think their doing a great job.. thanks
Called as my partner, who are on their books, needed a tooth extraction and was told that as she had not been for a check up for 18 months pretty much the time we were all in lockdown and dentists were not seeing any routine patients she had been removed from their books. We didn't get any letter, email or phone call warning us we were at risk of being removed, we were just culled from their list. The receptionist was rude and uncaring and made no attempt to actually help or pretend to care. Our written complaint has been left unacknowledged and ignored. If you want a dentist that actually cares for patients find somewhere else.
very difficult to get an appointment. if you miss the check up appointments they will delete you from the clientele list without any notice or knowledge. i had broken a tooth and managed after many calls to have it fixed. The replacement broke again within 24h and they booked 3 weeks later to fix it again. Unfortunately i had to cancel that appointment and i am still waiting for them to call me back to reschedule as the doctor's availability wasnt known.
I saw Maya today for a hygienist appointment and just wanted to comment on how lovely she was. Maya made me feel completely comfortable and at ease and also gave me some good tips for cleaning. Thanks Maya!
I visited Baldev Dental Clinic for my child's yearly dental checkup. When they were removing decay from my child's teeth, she felt little uncomfortable and slightly cried. It was not due to pain. She was little scared. Mrs.S immediately stopped the work and seriously suggesting to go for a numbing injection. This is absolutely a rude behavior. She was supposed to wait until I was explaining my child. I have never encountered such a great Doctor. It was a scary experience for my child. She was haunted. We are going almost an year later and due to current covid situation, I asked questions on the cleanliness of the equipment being used. The tube that sucks water looked so very old. This fair question offended Mrs.S and thereafter she communicated so un-friendly that I could not ask several questions about my child's dental health that I made note of. In pandemic situation, one has to be more kind than before. It does not cost anything. Just a right attitude will do,
