An average British railway station. It was not busy when I used it. I saw staff being helpful to other passengers. There is seating on the platforms. Has a ticket office and machines. This station has 4 platforms. The west coast mainline goes through here.
An ok train station with a routes to a wide range of locations throughout the UK. When I passed through on a Sunday none of the shops or cafes were open so plan accordingly if you want anything before entering the station.
1.8.24 -Warrington bank quay to Edinburgh 7.27am train - This must be one of the friendliest stations I have been too. Unfortunately we did not get the 2 ladies names. Lovely lady on front ticket office telling us where to go and the young lady on the platform who helped us with seats etc. Thank you for starting our trip off with such fantastic attitudes and lovely smiles
