Incredible experience. Sound, lighting and atmosphere is always 100%. Cool stages. Lots of choice. There’s always room to move even when it’s sold out. If you have a favourite artist who is playing there, it would almost be a sin not to go and see them while they are in this venue. Drinks are a bit pricey but to be expected at an event on this scale.
Always a great night. Little Sims and Jamie XX were exceptional. Great sound and lighting. Drinks are far too expensive and light on alcohol, but other than that there's no complaints.
Simply put, if you are even slightly considering going to The Warehouse Project, do it! Regardless of whatever music is playing on the night, the atmosphere is sure to be electric. The capacity is immense - it felt like there must have been around 10,000 people inside when I went. The sound system is second to none; you can literally FEEL every little nuance of the music. Yes the queues can be long, and yes the toilets could be cleaner, but frankly you will not care in the least. If you want a memorable night for the right reasons, just go...you won't regret it.
The grittiest dive in the whole of the UK. Sometimes the bouncers can be mean but this happens at all late night venues. My biggest qualm with this place is that the toilets are disgusting, when a few thousand people are paying top dollar for tickets the least we deceive are clean toilets. Also, it’s pathetic that tickets aren’t available on the door for hardcore fans that get their when it opens. It should be a standard policy for all venues in my humble opinion. I’ve had numerous memorable nights here, in total I’ve attended over two dozen events. I’ll never get bored of this unique ‘project’ but deep down I have a true love for store street, that venue was irreplaceable.
Good size venue and sound , but the ceiling rains with sweat and there are no proper toilets only portaloos, and not enough of them. This WHP was over sold too , trying to get from one room to another or in smoking area was a massive crush . And no drinks for under about £8 some staff refusing to give tap water on bars , but it was so busy it was hard to get to the one drinking point by the toilets. Not cool ! Still a great sized venue with a good sound system though.
Always an absolutely amazing night here at the WHP. Queue outside tends to go down pretty quick most nights, majority of security are fast and get you through although there's always the the occasional power tripper who thinks he's better than everyone and just shoves everyone about. All 3 stages are an immense experience to be at, Depot being the main one is insane. The lighting is an absolute artform here, especially at Depot - thank god the electricity bills aren't effecting them that much. I only really ever attend House and Drum and Bass events and they never disappoint. Amazing location too! Right next to Manchester Piccadilly train station, perfect for those who travel to come to WHP. 10/10, my go-to rave venue, I hope it never goes away.
Loved it. Great venue for electronic music. Probably the best venue in the UK.
Blown away by the sheer size of the venue! Friendly staff and banging tunes! So thankful there was plenty of tiered seating especially after dancing for hours. Loved the projectors and dancers they had on for the Halloween event too so simple but extremely cool they really stand out from the rest!
The best rave I have ever had. Honestly what a place to go for a party!
If you don't know what WHP is then you probably shouldn't be going. The Mayfield site is vast. Cold when you get in, baking when you leave. The Security folk are fair and courteous. The bar prices are nuts but there is free drinking water when you need it. The events are well run, the line ups are solid and the atmosphere is usually spot on. Don't wear nice kicks. They won't be by the end of the night. They don't like people trying to smuggle sweets in. No, actual sweets. Mints, chews, gum, they'll take them all. Leave any prejudice at the door. Have fun.
