Nice, small park, bordered on one side by the River Test, there is a cafe, play area, fitness equipment, and a large grassy area A strange exhibit is a WW2 Japanese field gun, a better and thought provoking exhibit is the horse statue, a memorial for war horses I spent a pleasant hour here.
I love this park , it has a lovely safe childrens playground , outdoor gym equipment , tennis courts , outdoor cafe/ kiosk , toilets and a bandstand . The park is well maintained . I have been coming here since I was a baby and I have brought my own children here. It isn't a huge park but it has something for everyone.
Lovely park for a stroll, steeped in history. Great place for a picnic or children to play. One boundary is flanked by The River Test.

Gorgeous clean and well cared for park hidden away in Romsey. Bandstand had a choir singing. Cafe serving snacks and ice cream. We'll equipped playgrounds and an adult outdoor gym. This park is also the memorial to the war horses who were taken to war and has a statue as a tribute. Lovely crystal clear river runs through it and there are some heartwarming plaques with poetry recitals laid in the paving. Toilets available. Disabled parking available at the entrance and flat terrain

Lovely little park. Very well kept and a pleasant place to spend an hour or so. Cafe was busy, but service was quick and the staff friendly. Coffee was pretty good too. Nice play area for children. Would definitely recommend.
This park is modest in size but very pleasant. It is well used by young and old, has a cafe, toilets, bowling green, a band stand and a tennis court, all set beside the river Test. Lots of seating scattered around and abundant with ducks waiting to be fed. A perfect oasis slap bang in the middle of Romsey. Well worth a visit, all the year round.
The park itself is always beautiful and peaceful , the flower beds are well looked after with seasonal flowers and plants. The lawns are always tidy and freshly cut. The whole park is very clean. The cafe offers a good range of snacks, cooked lunches,ice reams and drinks, hot and cold. However I think that the play areas are small as the park is very popular.
Lovely place for just a stroll, watch the duck on the River. There is a play park for the children to use and a great little cafe for that coffee or light lunch but no inside seating. Look out for the bandstand and WW2 gun.
