Another garage told me that I required several certain works carrying out for my service and MOT. However Walkden VW Centre informed that some of those works were not needed, therefore saving me money. My car was booked in and the work was complete within the time they stated.
Really good trustworthy garage. They get my recommendation anyway thanks guys.

shocking work from an apparently experienced family business. installed something technical  on my car which cost close to 100 pounds. I expected this to be fitted and working condition. then I get a phone call saying it's fitted but now it's another 100 pounds to programme the product so it actually works.. you think he would of mentioned this before he even started work on my car and giving me a extremely bad estimated price.. he didn't even carry the work out himself sounds like he got other company in to do the job.  all round waste of time and money not what I needed around xmas time. money grabbing company who don't know what they're doing in all aspects of the job bit claim they can. ask lots of questions before you leave your car with them.

Great garage ive used for servicing my VW's and Audi's over the past 10 years, can't recommend them enough.
Very reasonable prices.
Nice friendly family run garage.
