I have fond memories of the cathedral, from lighting candles for loved ones and visiting the gift shop and going in with my family whilst growing up. Lovely building that everyone in wakefield should visit.

I love Wakefield Cathedral!! It has an excellent shop and cafe, and the staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful! ! It's also a very peaceful and prayerful place! !

Nice place even for people who are not religious like myself very nice inside and out plenty of seating etc. Love going markets here too.

Former parish church, elevated to cathedral status towards the end of the nineteenth century.

Has a small gift shop and a cafe in the adjacent Treacy Hall.

Has services every day of the week. I have been to lunchtime communion in the chapel behind the altar. Very quiet and intimate.
