Lovely clean and well presented store. Includes fresh fish, meat, sushi, and bakery counters. Admittedly not been to the cafe however it looks warm and inviting. The store includes a John Lewis section with click n collect. The staff when needed have always been friendly and helpful. Good size car park with lots of spaces for the disabled, and parent and child.
Visited the cafe for breakfast today, it was nice but not great when you think of Waitrose you think quality rather than quantity but the breakfast was neither. Sausages average, eggs good, toast good, beans good but the bacon tasted like old dry jerky and the 1 large mushroom was only cooked in one side and It took so long to arrive that my tea was cold.
I have to say this store makes me feel uncomfortable. EVERY TIME I go there they waste my time by rescanning products I have in my basket. I do understand randomly checks but every time is a little bit excessive in my opinion. Also I never witnessed anyone else being checked. Scan and go should have save some time during shopping and not waisted it. Also it does feel like we have been picked on… this is not how customers should feel!!! Really poor experience
Large sized branch packed out with good quality food and produce even has homeware section along with a cafe.nFind things generally on a more civilised level with everything well laid in good sized aisles.nSeems to adopt a self checkout approach in common with other supermarkets.nPlenty of time limited free parking surrounding the store and the store is out of town .
Waitrose provides a good variety of food and household items with friendly staff and easy layout and wide aisles, which are good for anyone with mobility requirements.nAlso, a lovely cafe to enjoy if required.
