Asda Superstore with under Store car parking facilities mobility parking bays by the lifts with travelators to and from the carpark. This Store has a cafe that now only sells snacks, pizza slices and coffee no fresh meals like they used to serve. the usual instore department's for clothing, bakery, fresh pizza made to order ect ect asda if you have no stock of certain items remove the sale cards from the display until you're back in stock with that item. moderate sized carpark outside the main building with ATMs out by the front of storenalso shopping trolleys that are damaged should be taken out of service and removed from the trolly area those with seized wheels and damaged out of shape baskets should be repaired or scraped
Asda's are our nearest supermarket but shop floor staff are conspicuous by their absence. No one to ask for assistance when expected stock is missing. Not all tills are open with unnecessary queues building up. All in all not a pleasant experience. You've lost us Asda to Tesco, who manage to have full shelves and abundant shop floor staff to help.
Medium sized supermarket.nParking underneath the building so access can be without getting wet if it rains.nThe under car park does get full at busy times..nAn escalator to access, and a lift.nAnother access door from the road side.nA clothes selection.nA shoe repair store inside too.nToilets available.nA bakery.nSadly they've replaced loads of check outs with self serve.nThese arnt your standard self serve they're the larger ones for the whole trolley.nAnd it takes AGES !!nIf you have an issue with an item or the weight, then good luck waiting for a staff member to help you.nOn visiting on a Saturday at 6pm there were only two actual humans serving, the rest is self serve.nIt just adds time to a big shop, and is quite frankly off putting when you have a massive trolley full.
This is the meat that my family and me purchased on 22nd of may, 3 days ago. It is still in date and it smells horrific like faeces and rotten. It is literally the most horrific smell I have ever smelt. Please stay away from ASDA meats as this is the standard/quality of their meat.
Can only say it is what it is - a rather unexciting supermarket .nThe initial approach is just plain, grey and uninspiring - once inside things do seem rather well stocked and layout / range is also good but just comes across as needing something a bit more inspiring and exciting , for now it just seems somewhat drab .
