A great supermarket, with quality products.nSome items are pricey. However, I don't like the fact you cannot pay cash into self service tills!
Banbury Waitrose, I went thru the self service tills, approx 12 in total, .very early morning no one else there!!!!! Assistant told me off, very abrupt, my trolley needed to be put the other way round as it was sticking out, I apologized and said no one else is here and I didn't realize the trolleys had special spaces! The lady was very rude and said well you do now and that the tills got very busy quickly, at 7.30am there were more staff than customers!!!!
Love this cafe. Perfect place to start your day. Unfortunately no hot food due to technical issues but still nice coffee and croissants as an alternative : fully recommend. Family friendly, amazing stuff and service.
The shop is great, with the normal range of quality products that you would expect.nThe only downside is the Café, how does anybody make a burger too sweet? It was a brioche bun why? some kind of jam, which I scraped out, but even the cheese was sweet!
