Good place to buy something with good quality, but not all products here is good. They have really good cheese and sometimes good fruits and vegetables. They also got amazing lamb there. I come here quite often. It would be wonderful if they more often had cherries from Spain or Italy. It appeared for about a month and disappeared, which is a minus.
I used to shop at Waitrose regularly, but the recent price increase of one of their products—short ribs—is absolutely outrageous. In 2024, it was priced at £8.50, and now it’s gone up to £14.70. That’s a shocking increase compared to other supermarkets, where the price has only gone up slightly, if at all. This feels like price gouging, and I find it unacceptable. I will no longer shop at Waitrose and will be encouraging others to boycott this kind of exploitative pricing.
Very busy on Saturday afternoon. Checkouts were properly manned, keeping queues short. The range of grocery products is comprehensive but expensive in comparison with other supermarkets. Customer car parking on the roof level is convenient and free for 90 minutes.
Whatever one's heart desires in edible - food products but not limited to, take a wee stroll to Waitrose at Morningside Edinburgh. The varieties of whatever you come to imagine, is here under one roof.nThe staff are congenial, helpful, spiffing with the smile as a Bonus.nFull marks indeed to all at Waitrose - Morningside.!
Great place to pick up some Basics Lobster tails. Seriously... It is more expensive than budget supermarkets but the quality generally better
