I highly recommend our store in East-Grinstead  because of the staff. Such wonderful staff, always smiling, very polite, helpful, of course there are a couple of not very polite ones, like everywhere. A wonderful selection of fresh baked goods, cheese and fish. We go weekly to drink coffee and have wonderful communication and atmosphere.

This Waitrose store is a great choice if you’re after quality ingredients and products. Hence it’s more expensive than Sainsbury and obviously Aldi. Their veg and fruit section, fresh juices and the bakery are amazing. The vegan/vegetarian aisle is not as comprehensive as in Sainsbury. I like that they sell Fiji water, which I frequently get. My personal product highlight is the San Nicasio chips made with olive oil - super yummy. Overall a great store, but price-wise not very budget friendly.

I visited this store to buy lunch and go to the toilet following a long drive. I bought a meal deal including Coronation chicken sandwiches and a snack. When I went to eat the sandwiches I found the bread dry the chicken dry and salad limp.nnI was also disappointed that there were no customer toilets in this large store and staff were unhelpful hence the poor rating.

Quality & range has deteriorated so much we have adopted Sainsburys instead. Fruit & vwg v poor in Waitrose. Massive queues at self servicw tils- not a quality experience now but still priced like one

Suzanne on the fresh fish counter is amazing…she is a great example of gold star service…she changed my life with her suggestion to try the fish bag cooking technique…thank you
