Always a genuinely pleasant shopping experience. There’s an excellent range of products, and the quality is consistently outstanding. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist.nnParking upstairs can get busy at times, but I’ve never struggled to find a space — and having parking available at all is a real bonus.nnI honestly wish every food shop felt this easy and enjoyable. I bought this yogurt today from your Waitrose and when I opened it at home, it was clearly spoiled. The texture and appearance were completely abnormal see attached photos.nnThis is unacceptable for a food product and represents a serious health risk, especially considering that people buy these items for their families and children. The fact that such a product is being sold shows a lack of proper quality control.nnThis experience has seriously reduced my trust in this store. I expect the management to take this issue seriously and improve their food safety checks.
I don't do all of my shopping here. I find some of the prices higher than elsewhere, but Waitrose has a great range of products and a more relaxed atmosphere than some other supermarkets, doni keep coming back.
Generally a good place to shop, it is in comparison a 'small' waitrose. Parking on the roof is good, always found a spot, exit is a bit rubbish as joining a traffic light queue. Plus a few inconsiderate builders parking on the yellow lines takes it down to one lane at the moment. In the shop only bad thing is no self serve tills for cash, not the best idea they have had IMHO .
I get regular deliveries from various local supermarkets, but Waitrose at Leigh decided to send me going off organic bananas which I paid a lot of money for because they thought it would be good opportunity to get rid of bad stock as I wasn’t there in person to buy it. Opportunistic and bad customer service. Won’t be shopping here again. Go to Southend one instead.
